Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to handle financial statements, taxation, and auditing processes with precision and integrity.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and supporting management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle GST, TDS, and Income Tax filing as per statutory deadlines.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
• Maintain accurate records in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks (as applicable).
• Provide timely financial insights and reports to management.

Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Experience: Minimum 4–7 years in accounting or finance (experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industry preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Tally ERP / Excel / GST filing portals.
• Knowledge of MIS reporting and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with audit procedures and statutory compliances.
• Excellent communication, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and guide junior accounting staff.
