Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for managing and analyzing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, performing reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial data.
Monitor and manage company budgets and expenditures.
Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making processes.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company data.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
Experience: 2–5 years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar).
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Soft Skills:
Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
High ethical standards and integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
