Senior Accountant

Job Overview
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting practices. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the integrity of our general ledger. Your expertise in various accounting standards and regulations will guide our financial strategies and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements.
• Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic financial planning.
• Manage cash management processes to optimize liquidity and financial resources.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and assist with audits as needed.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management.

Basic qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash management.
• Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis to communicate insights effectively.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus.
• Familiarity with public accounting practices is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough account analysis and provide actionable recommendations.

Pay: ₹6,002.53 - ₹8,433.15 per year
