Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements. Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic financial planning. Manage cash management processes to optimize liquidity and financial resources. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and assist with audits as needed. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management. Basic qualifications Strong understanding of financial concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash management. Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis to communicate insights effectively. Preferred qualifications Experience in non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus.
