Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts & Finance Executive with 10 years of hands-on experience in core accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Indian taxation (GST, TDS), proficient with accounting software, and capable of managing end-to-end accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings
• Process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and ensure timely vendor payments
• Track, manage, and follow up on accounts receivable and credit control
• Perform vendor and customer statement reconciliations periodically
• Prepare and file all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & 9C), TDS returns, and other statutory filings
• Handle daily banking operations, including fund transfers and bank reconciliations
• Coordinate with banks for working capital requirements and documentation
• Prepare and present monthly MIS reports on financial performance, expenses, and cash flow
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost control tracking
• Support the finance team in preparing financial statements and management reports
• Work on Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks to manage day-to-day accounting

Key Skills & Requirements:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent degree in Finance & Accounting
• 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian compliance frameworks
• Proficient in accounting software: Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks
• Hands-on experience in bank coordination and reconciliations
• Good command over Excel and MIS reporting
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
