To manage and oversee security operations at Welspun Anjar, ensuring the adequate protection of company assets, personnel, and sensitive information. Section Head-Central Services-Security Plan, implement, and enforce security policies and decisions for Welspun Anjar to maintain a safe and secure environment. Lead the selection and upgrading of security systems, infrastructure, and site security leaders to strengthen protection measures. Prepare and manage the security budget, effectively overseeing both capital and operational expenditures. Coordinate security automation projects and ensure their successful implementation throughout the site. Conduct performance reviews of all supervised units to uphold high security standards. Perform comprehensive site security audits and ensure timely closure of all audit findings.Principal Accountabilities
Security Policy & Program Management:Design, plan, and drive the implementation of security policies, procedures, and programs to safeguard all business assets—including personnel, infrastructure, materials, and information—ensuring full compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Security Preparedness Planning:Plan and maintain a high level of security readiness for all units, residental area including upcoming projects and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer and operational expectations. Security System Evaluation & Improvement:Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of existing security systems and processes, identify gaps, and lead strategic initiatives for continuous improvement. Security Goal Setting & Compliance:Set clear security goals aligned with business objectives and ensure strict compliance across Welspun Anjar operations. Strategic Direction & Oversight:Provide strategic guidance, operational oversight, and performance review of security operations across port and plant premises. Event & Activity Management:Supervise planning and execution of all scheduled security events and activities as per the annual security calendar. Budget Management:Review, validate, and approve annual security capital and operational budgets; monitor expenses to ensure financial discipline and cost efficiency. Law Enforcement & Government Liaison:Develop and maintain strong working relationships with national and international law enforcement agencies and government bodies for proactive intelligence sharing and operational support. Concept of Operations (CONOPS. Development:Develop and implement a robust Concept of Operations to establish effective countermeasures against potential and credible security threats. Crisis Management & Emergency Planning:Create and maintain crisis management, disaster recovery, and emergency response plans to ensure operational resilience and continuity. Intelligence & Threat Detection:Build a proactive intelligence network and establish an internal framework for early detection of emerging threats with recommendations for mitigation. Leadership & Team Guidance:Provide strategic leadership and functional direction to site-level teams for optimal asset protection and incident preparedness. Security Culture Promotion:Collaborate closely with the Chief Security Head and Plant Business Heads to instill and promote a security-conscious culture across Welspun Anjar. Cross-Unit Coordination:Ensure timely, relevant, and coordinated communication with Security Heads across other business units to align on threats, risks, and best practices. Personnel Performance & Development:Lead performance evaluations, training programs, and capability development initiatives to maintain professional standards within the security team. Talent Management:Ensure all security positions are adequately staffed with minimal attrition; support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.Key Interactions
