Founded in 2019, GradRight has offices across Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Delhi and Washington DC. GradRight’s team possesses extensive domestic and international experience in the launch and scale-up of premier higher education institutions like Ashoka, Krea and Plaksha University. It is led by alumni of IIT Delhi, ISB Hyderabad and BITS Pilani and University of Pennsylvania. GradRight is also the winner of the HSBC Fintech Innovation Challenge supported by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India.


Core Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement SEO Strategies: Create, execute, and optimize comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility, traffic, and conversions.
  2. Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-impact keywords and search trends relevant to our industry.
  3. On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs to ensure they are search engine friendly and aligned with targeted keywords.
  4. Technical SEO: Identify and address technical SEO issues such as site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawl errors, and indexation problems.
  5. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop and optimize content that is both user-friendly and search engine friendly, ensuring high-quality and relevant content is published regularly.
  6. Link Building: Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to increase the website's authority and improve search engine rankings.
  7. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO software. Provide regular reports and insights to the team.
  8. Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the SEO landscape.
  9. Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation of SEO strategies.
  10. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with web developers, designers, and content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the website

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
  2. 3-5 years of proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful SEO campaigns.
  3. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  4. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
  5. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  6. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  9. Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress is preferred.
