About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven professional to join us as Lead – Global Logistics, Storage & Last Mile Operations. This role is critical in managing end-to-end container movements, freight operations, and international logistics, while ensuring seamless delivery and inventory management across multiple geographies.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in global logistics, customs clearance, Amazon operations, website/dropship orders, and overall inventory control. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about supply chain excellence.
What you’ll do:
Global Logistics & Storage
1. End-to-End Container & Freight Movements (Core Focus)
- Manage and oversee complete container movements, freight shipments, and international logistics.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for FCL, LCL, and air shipments.
- Negotiate competitive rates and ensure adherence to timelines and compliance standards.
2. FOB International Orders
- Handle FOB shipments and coordinate invoice preparation for customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with international trade and documentation requirements.
3. Customs Clearance & Documentation
- Work closely with CHAs for efficient customs clearance.
- Manage all import/export documents such as Form AI, fumigation certificates, and related paperwork.
4. Air Shipments & Samples
- Coordinate air shipments and sample deliveries via global carriers (FedEx, etc.).
- Share required documents with internal/external teams.
5. Amazon FOB Orders
- Manage Century Booking creation, manifests, SSCC labels, and invoice-related resolutions.
6. Invoice & Reconciliation Management
- Update invoices in logistics reconciliation sheets, prepare summaries, and coordinate with accounts.
- Share closing stock reports regularly with internal teams.
Last Mile Operations (Amazon & Web Orders)
1. Amazon Operations
- Manage Vendor Central DDP orders, FBA, MFN, FBM, and MCF shipments.
- Maintain Amazon tracking sheets, POs, invoicing, and direct fulfilment.
2. Website Orders (US, UK, CA)
- Manage unshipped, pending, and backorders.
- Ensure accurate website inventory syncing.
3. Dropship Orders
- Handle dropship orders for accounts like Walmart, Macy’s, QVC, Costco, Entertainer, etc.
- Maintain stock levels and system updates.
4. Sales & Escalation Orders
- Manage sales orders across UK, US, CA, AE, and Europe.
- Resolve escalation and influencer/marketing-based orders.
- Track outbound international shipments.
5. Inventory Management
- Manage end-to-end inventory across 3PLs.
- Track orders and share periodic closing stock updates.
What we are looking for:
- Strong expertise in international logistics, container movements, and freight operations.
- Deep knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, FBA/MFN/FBM workflows.
- Experience handling dropship & website orders and global inventories.
- Excellent negotiation skills with freight forwarders and 3PL partners.
- Strong analytical ability for reconciliation, costing, and tracking.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup with high ownership.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency with logistics, warehouse, and inventory management tools.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in global logistics, container & freight operations, storage, and last-mile deliveries.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
- Proven track record in handling complex global supply chain operations.
