Job Overview:

Role: SAP SD C4C Consultant (7-10 years of exp)

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Offshore - India (remote – OK)

Timeline: Immediate

Overview: As a Sales and Distribution (SD) ECC as well as S4 HANA SAP Support / rollout Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for SAP Sales and Distribution module / C4C system to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of business processes related to sales, order management, and distribution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, end-users, and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, as well as implement enhancements and optimizations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting expertise for SAP Sales and Distribution module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other modules such as Materials Management (MM), Finance (FI), and Controlling (CO).
  2. Functional Support: Offer functional guidance and expertise in C4C and SD processes, including lead management, opportunity management, sales order processing, pricing, billing, delivery, and logistics execution. Ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  3. Experience with SAP integration technologies and techniques, such as SAP PI/PO, APIs, and web services.
  4. Knowledge of Master data related to SAP SD module and its integration with the C4C module with knowledge about setup between SD and C4C systems
  5. Incident Management: Respond promptly to user-reported issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and disruptions to business operations. Utilize SAP Solution Manager or similar tools for incident tracking and resolution.
  6. Enhancement and Optimization: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and optimizations within the Sales and Distribution module. Develop and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  7. Change Management: Support the implementation of SAP system changes, upgrades, and enhancements by conducting impact assessments, performing configuration changes, and assisting with testing and training activities to ensure smooth transitions and minimal business disruption. S4 HANA knowledge and ability to support S4 HANA environment.
  8. Documentation and Training: Maintain up-to-date documentation of configuration settings, system changes, and support procedures. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support team members to empower them to utilize SAP SD functionality effectively.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, process owners, IT teams, and external vendors. Act as a trusted advisor on SD-related matters and contribute to strategic discussions on system enhancements and roadmap planning.
  10. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and SAP best practices in the configuration and usage of the Sales and Distribution module. Monitor system access and security controls to safeguard sensitive business data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution module configuration, customization, and support.
  • Proven experience in incident management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting within an SAP environment.
  • Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other modules such as MM, FI, and CO.
  • SAP ECC as well as S4 HANA experience is required.
  • Migration project experience from SAP ECC to S4 HANA will be preferable.
  • C4C integration with SD module experience will be preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a customer-centric approach.
  • SAP certification in Sales and Distribution (SD) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager is a plus.
  • Relevant experience of SD support / implementation projects – 8 years
