Job Description


1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers across the region, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to drive sales.

3. Identify new business opportunities and potential dealerships in untapped areas to expand market reach.

4. Conduct regular visits to dealerships to assess performance, provide training, and address any issues or concerns.

5. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to boost sales.

6. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.

7. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to management on a regular basis.

8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.

9. Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of dealer sales staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and selling skills.

10. Coordinate with the after-sales service team to address any customer concerns or issues, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

11. Monitor inventory levels at dealerships and provide guidance on stocking levels to ensure availability of products to meet customer demand.

12. Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning, providing insights for product development and marketing strategies.

13. Act as a liaison between dealers and internal departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and logistics, to streamline communication and facilitate efficient business operations.

14. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's brand and products, and network with potential customers and partners.

15. Implement effective sales strategies and incentive programs to motivate dealers and achieve sales objectives, including volume targets, market share growth, and profitability goals.

16. Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations of dealer partners, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance their sales capabilities and effectiveness.

17. Lead negotiations with key accounts and large customers to secure major deals and contracts, leveraging your sales expertise and market knowledge. 



Qualifications:

B.Tech/B.E., Master's degree or MBA in Sales or a related field. 


Skills:

  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction machinery industry.
  2. Experience in team management and leadership roles.
  3. In-depth knowledge of construction machinery industry.
  4. Understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
