Position Title: Channel Development Specialist Role Overview: The Channel Development Specialist is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and nurturing high-performing channel partners to expand market presence, improve sales reach, and drive business growth. This role plays a key part in strengthening dealer capability, market coverage, and execution excellence through structured engagement, training, and performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities: • Identify, evaluate, and appoint new channel partners in line with business expansion goals • Strengthen existing partner performance through capability-building initiatives, infrastructure development, and frontline enablement • Drive partner engagement through regular reviews, action plans, and performance support • Implement structured sales processes, lead management mechanisms, and marketing activations at the dealer level • Coordinate cross-functional support (Product, Finance, Service) to ensure end-to-end partner effectiveness • Monitor KPIs such as sales volume, coverage, enquiry generation, and customer satisfaction across territories • Ensure compliance with brand standards, pricing, and commercial norms Key Skills & Competencies: • Strong understanding of channel sales models, distribution strategies, and dealer management • Analytical mindset with ability to track performance and drive corrective actions • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to influence and align dealer partners with business goals Preferred Experience: • 6–8 years in channel development, dealer management, or distribution roles • Experience in construction equipment's, Commercial Vehicles or allied sectors preferred Educational Qualification: • Graduate in Engineering / Business / Commerce • MBA preferred but not mandatory
