As a Renewal Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of renewals within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of financial transactions related to contract renewals, subscription renewals, or any other recurring revenue streams. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including sales, customer success, and finance, to streamline processes and maximize revenue retention. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a customer-centric approach are essential for success in this role.
· Monitor upcoming contract renewal dates and proactively engage with customers to facilitate the renewal process.
· Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored renewal solutions.
· Prepare and send renewal proposals, contracts, and invoices to customers in a timely manner.
· Follow up with customers to secure timely renewal commitments and address any concerns or objections.
· Continuously assess and improve renewal processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
· Identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement in the renewal workflow and implement solutions.
· Work cross-functionally to integrate renewal processes with CRM, billing, and other relevant systems.
· Build strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and foster loyalty.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for customers during the renewal process, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
· Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies during the renewal process.
· Identify and mitigate risks associated with renewals, such as pricing disputes or contract non-compliance.
· Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and approve renewal contracts.

· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
· Proven experience in finance, accounting, or revenue operations, with a focus on subscription-based or recurring revenue models.
· Strong understanding of financial principles, including revenue recognition, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar analytical tools for data analysis and reporting.
· Familiarity with CRM and billing/invoicing platforms is desirable.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change.
