Job purpose

The Salesforce Practice Business Head will be accountable for driving the next level of growth, strategic positioning and P&L management of the Salesforce practice.

As a Practice Head, you will play a leadership & strategic role towards nurturing the Practice


Key responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage Datamatics Salesforce practice. Own the technical engagement and the ultimate success around all implementation projects, including Consulting, Implementations, Modernization Services, and Managed Services.
  2. Lead complete lifecycle of service offerings like Pre-Sales / Transition / Service Delivery, including capabilities like Salesforce PDO and Integration Services.
  3. Be a strategic business partner and influencer to grow our Salesforce business, scaling our ability to sell and deliver services around cloud enablement, migration, and transformation.
  4. Responsible for designing, building solutions and providing required support to Sales / Pre-Sales teams across Salesforce Clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot (Marketing Cloud), Platform, Mulesoft, and Commerce Cloud.
  5. Serve as a key partner to the sales team in helping to ensure customer success.
  6. Study the existing services like processes, best practices and standardize the service offerings; strengthen and improve the maturity levels and make a strong practice.
  7. Build new Salesforce capabilities, solutions, assets, accelerators, and team competencies by leveraging partnerships
  8. Evangelize the technology and offerings — including Salesforce AI, Platform, Integration, and Product Development — to both internal/external stakeholders.
  9. Focus on continuous improvement of service offerings. Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales and the Service Delivery team.
  10. Drive strategic account growth and be responsible for the delivery of all Salesforce-related services to prospects and clients.


Qualifications & Desired Skills

  1. Tech-savvy business leader with both technical depth and commercial acumen to drive growth, profitability, and innovation
  2. 18-22 years of core tech experience with a flair for Sales/pre-Sales/client interfacing role
  3. Experience in leading large Salesforce projects including consulting, Implementations, ,modernization Services, and managed Services
  4. A people-centric leader who can fosters collaboration
  5. Experience across Salesforce platform; developing and delivering cutting edge solutions
  6. Extensive experience of working with global clients with preference for customers from North America and Europe.
  7. Proven relevant experience as a delivery head or practice head building capabilities and services
  8. Good understanding of market trends in the tech space
  9. Good interpersonal skills, Ability to work with other teams in collaboration
  10. Strategic orientation

  12. Ability to scale
  13. B.E/B.Tech
  14. Business Acumen, Strategic Orientation, Customer focus, Planning & result Orientation, Problem solving & Decision making, Communication & Interpersonal effectiveness, People management / Collaboration / Interpersonal skills

  16. Industry experience across Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hi-Tech & Financial Services
