About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Trainer to drive impactful capability-building initiatives for our sales teams in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves developing people, understands business realities, and can translate training into measurable performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Induction, Product, Process and Sales Skills Training for new and existing team members.

• Facilitate Behavioural & Managerial Development programs as per business needs.

• Partner with Sales Leaders to identify performance gaps and design customised interventions.

• Drive field coaching, joint calls and on-the-job capability building.

• Track training effectiveness through assessment scores, performance metrics, and feedback.

• Create and maintain training content, playbooks, assessments and digital learning modules.

• Ensure high learner engagement through activities, role plays, simulations, and real-life case studies.

• Support organisational initiatives like certifications, audits, campaigns and new product launches.

Key Skills Required

• Strong facilitation and communication skills (English, Hindi & Bengali preferred).

• Solid understanding of the insurance/sales cycle, customer handling and compliance.

• Ability to motivate and influence teams.

• Expertise in creating PPTs, workflows, and crisp training content.

• High energy, positive attitude and willingness to travel within region.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Post Graduate (Any discipline).

• 3–7 years of training experience in Life Insurance / BFSI / EdTech / FMCG Sales.

• Certification in training, coaching or instructional design will be an added advantage.
