Job Description

Role Overview:

The Sales Trainer is responsible for improving the performance of the sales team by delivering structured training programs, developing sales skills, product knowledge, and ensuring all sales employees follow company standards. The role includes onboarding training, periodic refreshers, one-to-one coaching, and team training via classroom and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:1. New Joiners Training

  • Conduct onboarding training for all new sales staff.
  • Train on product knowledge, pricing, measurement process, ERP usage, and company sales SOP.
  • Ensure new joiners understand pitch delivery, customer handling, and lead conversion process.

2. Poor Performance – 1 to 1 Training

  • Identify low performers through performance reports and coordinate with managers.
  • Provide personalised coaching sessions focused on communication, objection handling, follow-up skills, and closing techniques.
  • Create an improvement plan and track progress weekly.

3. Team Training – Zoom / Online

  • Conduct weekly Zoom training for the entire sales team across locations.
  • Deliver product refreshers, competitive analysis, new updates, and sales strategy sessions.
  • Share training recordings and maintain attendance records.

4. Classroom Training

  • Plan and execute monthly classroom sessions for batch training.
  • Conduct role-plays, mock pitches, product demos and practical skill sessions.
  • Evaluate participants through quizzes, tests, and real-time assessments.

5. Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop training materials, PPTs, scripts, sales manuals, and SOPs.
  • Train teams on sales funnel management and CRM/ERP updating discipline.
  • Conduct field audits and accompany sales staff for real-time performance observation.
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers to understand training requirements.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly training reports with performance insights.
  • Maintain training calendar and ensure timely execution across branches.
  • Implement continuous learning programs for product launch, new offers, or process changes.
  • Motivate the team and build a positive learning culture inside the sales department.

  • Ability to handle Zoom/online training tools
  • Good documentation and report-writing skills
  • Ability to coach and motivate teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
