Position:

Role Overview

The Sales Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive sales training programs for managers and sales teams. The role includes product knowledge training, direct sales pitching, customer handling techniques, and virtual Zoom training support. The Sales Trainer ensures that all managers are fully equipped with the necessary skills to achieve sales targets and maintain a consistent standard across all regions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

  • product training sessions

  • Direct Sales Pitching training

  • Zoom Meeting Training sessions

  • Provide one-on-one coaching for underperforming team members.

2. Training Content Development

  • Prepare training materials, PPTs, manuals, videos, and scripts for sales presentations.

  • Customize training content based on product updates, market trends, and sales requirements.

  • Develop roleplay scenarios and mock pitch sessions.

3. Performance Monitoring

  • Track training effectiveness through assessments, quizzes, and feedback forms.

  • Monitor individual manager performance and provide improvement plans.

  • Conduct refresher training for repeated gaps or underperforming areas.

4. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with Sales Heads, Regional Managers, and Team Leads for training schedules.

  • Maintain digital training records and attendance.

  • Support new joiners with onboarding sales training.

5. Reporting

  • Submit weekly and monthly training reports to management.

  • Share insights on team performance, product understanding gaps, and training success levels.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA preferred)

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Training / Product Training

  • Experience in construction materials / building products (preferred)

  • Proven ability to train multi-location teams
