Job Description

Position: Sales/BDM with Background Verification

Experience: :3+ years

Location:

Work Mode : Work From Office

 

 

Business Development (BD) Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Lead Generation: 
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other business development strategies. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business growth. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within potential and existing client organizations. 
  • Present and promote the company’s products/services (especially around background verification services) to new and existing clients. 
  • Client Relationship Management: 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and maintain long-term relationships. 
  • Understand client needs and work with internal teams to provide customized solutions for background verification services. 
  • Negotiate and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and value proposition delivery. 
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: 
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. 
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, particularly regarding background verification trends and regulations. 

 

Background Verification (BGV) Responsibilities:

  • BGV Process Management: 
  • Lead and manage the BGV process for clients, ensuring that all verification procedures are executed as per legal and company standards. 
  • Coordinate with the internal team and third-party verification partners to ensure timely and accurate background checks. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and provide guidance on any legal aspects of BGV processes. 
  • Documentation & Reporting: 
  • Oversee the documentation and reporting of BGV results to ensure they meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. 
  • Provide clients with regular updates regarding the status of their background checks and any issues encountered. 
  • Consultative Approach: 
  • Advise clients on the best practices related to background checks and help them implement effective verification processes. 
  • Troubleshoot any BGV-related issues that arise and suggest appropriate solutions to clients. 

Collaboration & Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align business development goals with client delivery. 
  • Work with the recruitment and HR teams to understand BGV needs for specific roles and industries. 

 

Key Requirements:

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related fields (preferred). 

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development,Mandatory within background verification. 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth. 
  • Experience in handling BGV processes and understanding of background check regulations is highly advantageous. 

Skills:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • In-depth understanding of the background verification industry, processes, and regulations. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant business tools.

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of organizational skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
