Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Mumbai. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving sales targets. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, conducting market research, and preparing sales reports. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through existing accounts and new business development in the stocklot paper and plastic trade.
  • Set sales strategies, define targets, and motivate a team of associates and representatives to achieve sales goals.
  • Maintain, expand, and leverage your network of buyers, sellers, and supply chain partners.
  • Negotiate and close high-value sales deals, ensuring excellent service from initial inquiry to post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with operations, warehousing, and sourcing teams for timely order fulfillment and inventory turnover.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and regular reports to senior management via CRM/Excel.
  • Stay updated on market trends and recommend strategic business adjustments.
  • Mentor, train, and build the sales team as the company expands.



Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales Management and Business Development
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in the Paper and Plastic industry is a plus
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary of ₹45,000 per month (based on experience and fit).
