Sales Manager / Executive About the job Job Title: On-field Sales Manager / Executive – Following locations, Opening for Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh – 01 Position. Opening for Haryana, Punjab &Himachal Pradesh - 01 Position. Opening for Maharashtra and Gujarat - 01 Position Opening for North East states – 01 Position. Department: Sales Location: Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Punjab &Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujrat and North East states (extensive travel within territory) Languages: Preferred to be state local languages of placement. Salary Range: Negotiable Role Overview As our On-field Sales Manager/ Executive for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and North East states you’ll be the face of Agriplast in these key territories. You will drive new business, nurture farmer relationships, and deliver tailored protected-cultivation solutions that boost yield and profitability. Key Responsibilities Territory Development: Map and prioritize key farming clusters, nurseries, and commercial growers. Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through field visits, demonstrations, and networking. Client Engagement & Solution Selling: Conduct on-site needs assessments and technical demonstrations of polyhouse systems, fertigation units, screen nets, etc. Prepare proposals, quotations and close deals to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets. Relationship Management: Serve as primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients—address technical questions, coordinate with agronomy and project teams for smooth implementation. Organize farmer workshops, field days and product trainings (in English & Hindi). Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate sales activity logs in CRM. Submit weekly territory reports, competitor insights, and market feedback to the Sales Manager. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification in B2B or agri-inputs sales (protected cultivation experience is a plus). Skills & Attributes: Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-driven, result-oriented and comfortable working independently in the field. Valid driver’s license with ability to travel extensively (own vehicle preferred). Certification/Training (Optional but Advantageous): Sales methodology certifications (e.g. SPIN, NEAT). Technical training in greenhouse management, fertigation, IPM, or related ag-tech. What we offer?
