Key Responsibilities Territory Development: Map and prioritize key farming clusters, nurseries, and commercial growers. Client Engagement & Solution Selling: Conduct on-site needs assessments and technical demonstrations of polyhouse systems, fertigation units, screen nets, etc. Prepare proposals, quotations and close deals to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets. Relationship Management: Serve as primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients—address technical questions, coordinate with agronomy and project teams for smooth implementation. Organize farmer workshops, field days and product trainings (in English & Hindi). Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate sales activity logs in CRM. Submit weekly territory reports, competitor insights, and market feedback to the Sales Manager. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification in B2B or agri-inputs sales (protected cultivation experience is a plus). Skills & Attributes: Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-driven, result-oriented and comfortable working independently in the field. Valid driver’s license with ability to travel extensively (own vehicle preferred). Certification/Training (Optional but Advantageous): Sales methodology certifications (e.g. SPIN, NEAT).
