Job Title: Defence Sales and Logistics Liaison

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person for Defence Sales, Liaison to drive sales & compliance , logistic etc , including from Defence Public Sector Units (DPSUs), armed forces, and related nature of companies . This role demands expertise in navigating defence procurement processes (e.g., DAP, DDP), building strategic partnerships, and managing secure logistics operations. The ideal candidate excels at transforming complex regulatory environments into revenue growth in the defence sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue defence sales opportunities, including RFPs, tenders, and contracts with DPSUs (e.g., HAL, BEL, BDL BRD’s etc ), defence services (Army, Navy, Air Force), and MoD affiliates.
• Act as the primary liaison with defence officials, DPSU representatives, DRDO, and regulatory bodies to foster relationships and resolve issues.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for defence sectors, achieving revenue targets while expanding market share in public sector defence units.
• Manage end-to-end defence logistics, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and compliance with defence-specific regulations (e.g., DAP 2020, Defence Acquisition Procedure).
• Ensure adherence to security protocols, export controls (e.g., ITAR, SCOMET), and ethical standards in all operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, legal) to prepare defence proposals, negotiate contracts, and track KPIs.
• Monitor defence policy changes, competitive intelligence, and trends in DPSUs/defence services to refine strategies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Defence Studies, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in defence sales, contracting, DPSU liaison, or public sector defence roles.
• Proven track record in defence logistics, with knowledge of ERP/TMS systems and secure supply chain tools.
• Deep understanding of defence procurement (DAP, GFR), bidding procedures, and compliance (e.g., CVC guidelines).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and defence portals a plus.
• Ability to obtain security clearances (e.g., Positive Vetting, PoA); prior MoD/DPSU exposure highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%), including to defence establishments.
