Job Summary

Senior Manager - Electronics and Integration

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:

   Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of electronics engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Technical Oversight:

   Provide expert technical direction for the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept and architecture design through to testing, qualification, and deployment of avionics and electronic systems.

• System Integration:

   Spearhead the integration of complex hardware and software subsystems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance for mission-critical aerospace and defence applications.

• Quality & Compliance:

   Champion and enforce strict adherence to the 

  AS 9100 Rev D

   Quality Management System. Lead internal audits, manage documentation, and ensure all products meet or exceed industry and client specifications.

• PCB & Avionics Expertise:

   Leverage your in-depth knowledge of multilayer PCB design, high-speed digital electronics, RF systems, and avionics architectures (e.g., flight computers, navigation systems, communication modules) to guide design decisions and solve complex technical challenges.

• Project Management:

   Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budget management, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

   Act as the primary technical liaison between your team, senior management, program managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure alignment and clear communication.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

   A minimum of 

  12+ years

   of progressive experience in electronics design and development, with at least 

  5 years

   in a senior leadership or management role specifically within the 

  aerospace and defence industry

  .

• AS 9100 Certification:

   Must be certified in 

  AS 9100 Rev D

   (e.g., as a Lead Auditor or Implementer) with demonstrable experience in applying its principles in a manufacturing or design environment.

• Technical Skills:

• Expert-level knowledge of 

  PCB electronics

  , including schematic capture, high-density layout, signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and DFM/DFA principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the architecture, design, and integration of 

  avionics electronics

   and subsystems.
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools such as 

  Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics

  .
• Strong understanding of military and aviation standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, DO-160, DO-254).

• Leadership Skills:

   Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, manage complex projects, and make critical decisions under pressure. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems, VHDL/Verilog, and FPGA/ASIC development.
• Familiarity with systems engineering principles and the V-model development lifecycle.
• Prior experience in electronic warfare, radar, or satellite communication systems.
