Job Title: B2B Sales Executive – General Trade

Industry: Food / FMCG

Experience: 2 to 3 Years (Preferably in Food or FMCG Sector)

Work Mode: 6 Days a Week (Office + On-Field)

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: GM – Sales / Strategy Lead


Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven B2B Sales Executive to join our General Trade team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing B2B customer accounts in the food or FMCG sector. This role requires a combination of strategic account management and field sales execution.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify and onboard new B2B clients (retailers, wholesalers, distributors) in the general trade segment.

·       Sales Execution: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by developing and implementing field sales strategies.

·       Market Penetration: Expand product reach and market share by identifying new sales opportunities within assigned territory.

·       Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat business and high customer satisfaction.

·       Field Visits: Conduct daily market visits to meet with retailers and distributors, monitor stock levels, and ensure visibility and availability of products.

·       Order Management: Take and process orders, coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.

·       Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit sales reports, market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to the reporting manager.

·       Promotional Activities: Support trade marketing initiatives, schemes, and promotions to boost sales and visibility.


Key Requirements:

·       Experience: 2 to 3 years in B2B or General Trade sales, preferably in the food or FMCG industry

·       Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred but not mandatory)

·       Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language and English


Skills:

·       Negotiation and persuasion

·       Relationship-building

·       Market understanding and customer insight

·       Proficiency in MS Excel, sales tracking tools, or CRM software

·       Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory

·       Work Ethic: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
