Job Description

Job Title: Sales Leader Overview :- The Sales Leader is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives. This role requires a results-driven professional who can inspire others, analyze market trends, and build strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand market share. Forecast sales performance and identify growth opportunities across products, regions, and customer segments. Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives to build a motivated, high-achieving team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Customer & Market Management Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings. Reporting & Analytics Prepare regular sales reports and present insights to senior leadership. Use CRM tools to track performance, pipeline activity, and conversion rates. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align efforts and maximize customer impact. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in [industry type, e.g., SaaS, manufacturing, retail, etc.]. Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Performance Metrics Revenue growth and profitability Sales team quota attainment Customer acquisition and retention rates Pipeline health and forecasting accuracy
