Min Experience: 3 yearsLocation: Delhi, Bangalore, SuratJobType: full-timeWe are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for exhibitions and events. This role involves developing effective sales strategies, generating leads through multiple channels, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful event execution. The ideal candidate should be proactive, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travel.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies for exhibitions and events, including defining target markets, setting revenue objectives, and supporting marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and acquire potential exhibitors and clients through cold calling, industry event visits, and networking with associations and prominent brands.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with exhibitors, ensuring their requirements are understood and met throughout the planning cycle and during the event.
  • Market Research & Data Gathering: Collect and analyze information from manufacturing clusters and relevant industry associations to discover potential sales opportunities.
  • Travel & On-ground Sales Efforts: Travel across India or targeted regions to meet clients, generate business, and support event-related activities.
  • Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with marketing and event management teams to coordinate roadshows, regional promotions, and digital campaigns tailored to exhibitors.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare periodic sales reports, monitor performance against targets, gather market feedback, and suggest areas for improvement.

Key Skills:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in exhibitions, events, or B2B industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with frequent travel
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions
  • Excellent data gathering and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting systems
