Required
- Managing and leading engagements by providing internal audits for a variety of engagements, including Internal Audit, Risk Assessment, SOX Compliance, Technical Accounting advisory and financial modeling
- Developing process maps, risk and control matrices, and process narratives for key macro business processes including revenue, procure to pay, financial close, payroll, etc.
- Execute risk-based internal audits for clients across a multitude of industries
- Develop audit reports consisting of issues, gaps, and innovative recommendations
- Prepare detailed financial analysis to assist clients in evaluating potential acquisitions, financing arrangements and other substantial strategic decisions
- Delegates and manages the work of consultants in practice; monitors/maintains morale of engagement
- Provide oversight and hands-on assistance in the implementation of accounting standards, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combination, complex debt and equity issuances, equity compensation, etc.
- Develop and review financial forecasts on behalf of clients
- Assist with development and review of financial reports to determine quality of historical earnings for internal / external reporting purposes, strategic initiatives (i.e., acquisition scenarios), or for other reporting needs (e.g., assurance reporting; tax reporting)
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to feedback for staff; follow up with staff relative to career development objectives/plan
- Project management oversight, including prioritizing varying projects against deadlines, managing time effectively, and completing high quality deliverables generating positive economic outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting required
- CPA or Chartered Accountant Designation is required
- 7+ years of some combination of recent experience in: 1) public accounting audit practice as Manager level or higher; or 2.) industry accounting department / external reporting leadership role
- Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), knowledge including Excel functions, and formatting capabilities for reporting.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in communication, collaborating effectively with both the local team and US team in the local language as well as in English.
- The candidate will require to work in the office (onsite job)
- The candidate should be open to work in the afternoon shift (i.e., from 11 am to 8 pm).
This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
