Job Summary

This position is responsible for identifying growth opportunities within accounts, strategizing revenue expansion, problem-solving account-related issues, and recommending product development to drive revenue growth. You will be a key player in tracking new opportunities and maximizing revenue potential, and deploying the sales team to improve profitability among all accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Competitive Analysis and Benchmarking

  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to benchmark the organization's revenue performance against industry peers.
  • Identify areas where the organization can gain a competitive advantage and recommend strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.

Pricing Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with pricing teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that optimize revenue generation while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
  • Analyze pricing models and make recommendations for adjustments based on market dynamics and customer demand.

Contract Negotiation Support

  • Provide support to sales teams in contract negotiation processes to ensure favorable terms that maximize revenue potential while mitigating risks.
  • Review proposed contracts for alignment with revenue objectives and provide guidance on pricing, terms, and conditions.

Revenue Forecasting and Budgeting

  • Lead the development of revenue forecasts and budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Monitor actual performance against forecasts and identify variances to inform future planning and decision-making.

Revenue Performance Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate key insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Optimization

  • Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, sales opportunities, and revenue-related activities.
  • Implement best practices for data management and reporting to enhance visibility into customer relationships and revenue pipelines.
  • Ensure increased adoption of CRM usage within the Sales Team and incorporate best-practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • With full oversight over the Sales Team, mobilize them into action for targeting/saving/boosting potential and existing accounts.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to align revenue initiatives with broader organizational goals and objectives.
  • Leverage synergies across departments to drive efficiency and effectiveness in revenue management processes.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the revenue management function.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and optimize resource allocation.


Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Or in lieu of a degree, minimum 15 years of relevant experience.


Additional:

  • Proven experience in sales operations or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
