The
Revenue Manager
is responsible for leading and managing a large team (10+ people) overseeing the revenue recognition process. This role requires strong technical expertise in IFRS 15 Revenue recognition for the services industry, significant experience in handling complex audits, and the ability to influence and drive collaboration across departments.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Leadership & Team Management for a large O2C team based in India and Mexico, ensuring alignment with company goals and promoting a high-performance culture.
- Management of the Revenue Recognition function in accordance with IFRS 15, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and company policies.
- Partner closely with business teams to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions and ensure accurate recording and reporting of revenue.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting by overseeing the preparation of revenue-related financial reports and analyses, including monthly revenue, aging of receivables, and cash flow forecasting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors for all O2C-related audits, including SOX and revenue audits.
- Act as an influential leader across departments, working with Sales, Sales Operations, and other functions to align on revenue and collections strategies.
- Process Improvement & Optimization by continuously evaluate revenue processes to identify areas for automation and efficiency gains.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Deep knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles, with experience managing complex revenue contracts.
- Proven experience in managing external and internal audits, with a strong compliance mindset.
- At least 10+ years of experience in Order to Cash, of which a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role Revenue Recognition, with.
- Experience managing teams remotely, working across geographies
- Chartered Accountant / ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
