Divine Hindu is a fast-growing spiritual D2C brand, offering authentic Rudraksha, gemstones, pooja products and spiritual accessories to customers across India. We are scaling rapidly and looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist who can turn first-time buyers into loyal, repeat customers.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Customer Lifecycle & Journeys

  • Design, set up and optimize journeys: welcome series, COD confirmation, pre-delivery communication, post-delivery NPS, review collection, cross-sell, win-back, dormant user reactivation.
  • Campaign Execution

  • Plan and send WhatsApp, SMS and email campaigns around launches, festivals, offers and key sale events.
  • Work closely with design/content to brief creatives and copies that match Divine Hindu’s brand voice.
  • Segmentation & Targeting

  • Create smart segments (RFM, category-wise buyers, high-value customers, COD vs prepaid, at-risk churn customers).
  • Run targeted campaigns for specific cohorts instead of blasting to the full base.
  • Automation & Tools

  • Set up flows, triggers and events inside CRM tools (Netcore, GoKwik, WebEngage, etc.).
  • Work with tech/Shopify team to ensure correct events, tags and customer data are flowing.
  • Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report key metrics: repeat purchase rate, LTV, churn %, open/click rates, revenue from CRM, opt-out rates.
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, creatives, offers, send-times and journeys.
  • Share weekly performance reports with founders/marketing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with operations (delivery/RTO), customer support and performance marketing to ensure a smooth customer experience across all touchpoints.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in

    Retention / CRM / Lifecycle Marketing

    for a

    D2C or e-commerce brand

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    WhatsApp, SMS and email marketing tools

    .
  • Prior experience with

    GoKwik and/or Netcore

    is a

    strong plus (not mandatory)

    .
  • Strong analytical skills – comfortable working on

    Excel/Google Sheets, basic dashboards, cohorts

    .
  • Understanding of

    e-commerce funnels

    (add to cart → purchase → repeat purchase).
  • Comfortable working in a

    fast-paced, founder-led, high-ownership environment

    .
  • Good communication skills in

    English & Hindi

    .

Good to Have

  • Experience with

    Shopify-based brands

    .
  • Experience in spiritual / wellness / fashion / lifestyle categories.
  • Basic familiarity with GA4, Mixpanel or similar analytics tools.
