Job Description

Regional Sales Manager/Head Job Responsibility

The Regional Sales Head will be responsible for driving business growth and sales performance across the assigned region in the broking industry. This role demands a strong leader with in-depth knowledge of financial markets, client acquisition, and channel development to build a high-performance sales team and deliver consistent revenue growth.

  • Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Achieve regional revenue targets across products like Equity, Derivatives, Commodities, Mutual Funds, and other third-party financial products.
  • Track, analyze, and drive daily/monthly sales performance metrics.
  • Drive profitability through pricing strategy, product mix, and client segmentation.
  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of Area Managers, Relationship Managers, and Sales Executives.
  • Set clear goals and performance standards; monitor KPIs and ensure regular reviews.
  • Drive a culture of high performance, ownership, and accountability.
  • Devise and implement strategies for acquiring retail and HNI clients.
  • Focus on increasing AUM (Assets Under Management) and active client base.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and reduce attrition through relationship management.
  • Onboard and activate sub-brokers, channel partners, and franchisees.
  • Enhance channel partner productivity through support, incentives, and training.
  • Ensure consistent business contribution from all partners.
  • Ensure team and partners adhere to SEBI regulations and internal compliance policies.
  • Monitor client transactions and reporting to mitigate operational risk.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections as required.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to drive region-specific campaigns.
  • Represent the region in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Provide timely reports on sales performance, pipeline updates, and forecasts.
  • Use CRM tools for tracking activities, lead status, and closure ratios.
  • Present insights and recommendations based on regional data analysis.

Qualification

  • Minimum 12 to 15 or plus years of sales experience.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of share and security market trends.
