Job Description

Sales Manager Job Responsibility KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AREA

  • Client Acquisition & Activation
    • Acquire new clients for equity, derivatives, and mutual fund products.
    • Achieve monthly targets for account openings and active clients.
    • Ensure proper client onboarding and activation within defined timelines.
  • Revenue & Business Targets
    • Drive daily/monthly revenue through brokerage, mutual funds, IPOs, and insurance sales.
    • Meet assigned sales targets for both volume and value.
    • Encourage cross-selling of financial products to maximize revenue per client.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build strong relationships with clients to ensure high engagement and repeat business.
    • Handle client queries, grievances, and escalations effectively.
    • Maintain high standards of client service to enhance client retention.
  • Sales Strategy Execution
    • Implement sales campaigns and product promotions as directed by management.
    • Execute client acquisition and upselling strategies in alignment with regional plans.
    • Monitor daily productivity and improve lead-to-conversion ratios.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Ensure KYC, risk profiling, and other documentation are completed in line with SEBI & internal compliance norms.
    • Maintain clean audit trails and adhere to company SOPs and regulatory frameworks.
    • Avoid client-level or operational compliance breaches.
  • Reporting & MIS
    • Submit accurate reports on leads, conversions, revenue, and productivity.
    • Use CRM tools and internal dashboards for sales tracking and performance reviews.
    • Share market feedback and suggestions with senior management.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with relationship managers, product specialists, and back-office teams.
    • Coordinate with research and advisory teams to share insights with clients.
    • Support internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions when required.
