We’re Hiring – Sales Manager (West India | Engineering Solutions)

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Develop business opportunities in automotive, foundries, machine tool, engineering, defense, and R&D sectors across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and MP
  • Build & manage a strong pipeline across Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik, Mumbai, Rajkot, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Bhopal
  • Identify customer challenges in design, prototyping, and manufacturing to offer tailored solutions

2. Customer Engagement & Field Sales

  • Conduct regular customer visits (extensive touring required)
  • Engage with senior management, design engineers, and production leaders
  • Leverage existing industry contacts for faster account acquisition

3. Solution Presentation & Demonstration

  • Deliver first-level presentations for:
  • ▪ CAD/CAM, FEA, Casting & Forging Simulation Software
  • ▪ 3D Scanners & 3D Printers
  • ▪ Simulation Services
  • Collaborate with application engineers for advanced demos & proof-of-concepts

4. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Manage the complete sales cycle: qualification → proposals → negotiations → closures
  • Consistently achieve revenue targets in West India
  • Maintain updated forecasts and CRM records

5. Team Development & Management

  • Recruit, train & manage Sales Engineers in the western region
  • Monitor and support team coverage across all key belts
  • Foster a performance-driven & collaborative culture

6. Territory Management & Market Intelligence

  • Expand footprint across Maharashtra, Gujarat & MP
  • Track competitor activities & market dynamics
  • Share insights with management for strategy building

7. Post-Sales Coordination

  • Ensure smooth onboarding & technical support for customers
  • Follow up for feedback, satisfaction & upsell opportunities
🎓

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • Education:

    Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial preferred)
  • Experience:

    5–6 years in CAD/CAM, FEA, design software, industrial equipment, or consumables sales
  • Strong network & established contacts in automotive, foundry, engineering, and manufacturing industries (Pune, Mumbai, Gujarat, MP)
  • Proven access to

    plant heads, R&D managers, and senior decision-makers

  • Ability to

    develop & lead a regional sales team

  • Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
  • Willingness for extensive travel across western India
