Job Description

We are looking for Regional Sales Manager( GT Sales) for Ahmedabad Location. Candidate must be from FMCG or packaging industry and hands on experience in GT Sales. Interested candidates can email their resume at amit.s@channelpackaging.in

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, managing a team of sales professionals, and expanding business in the assigned territories of Gujarat: Initially Ahmedabad and Surat to be handled later more branches will be added later as the company is planning for expansion. The role involves sales management, customer relations, and implementing strategies to achieve growth and sales targets in alignment with the company’s business objectives

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategy & Growth: • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the assigned region. • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through innovative sales approaches.

2. Sales Team Management: • Set clear sales targets for the team and individual members. • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and support to ensure targets are met. • Lead hiring, training, and development of the sales team, ensuring they are equipped to succeed.

3. Customer Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the region. • Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

4. Reporting & Analytics: • Provide regular reports on sales performance, key market trends, and team achievements to senior management. • Use data to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to optimize sales processes.

5. Market Research & Analysis: • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities. • Leverage insights to adjust sales tactics and develop market-specific strategies.

6. Sales Promotions & Campaigns: • Develop and oversee the implementation of sales campaigns and promotional activities to drive sales. • Monitor the effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies accordingly.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Minimum Bachelor's degree. EXPERIENCE: • At least 10 years of sales experience in General Trade. • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sales Manager

 

  • Preferred Skills: • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams to meet sales targets. • Excellent customer relationship management skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Candidate from Gujarati background preferred.
