Job Description: Regional Business Head

Location: Kochi
Experience: 10+ years
Function: Sales & Operations
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Business Head to lead our business operations in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Sales, Business Development, and Operations Management, with the ability to drive revenue growth, ensure seamless customer service, and provide strong leadership to the regional team.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Execution

  • Execute the company’s business strategies in the region to ensure achievement of overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and ensure availability of accurate market intelligence (market size, customers, competitors).
  • Initiate actions for expanding the customer base in existing and new geographies.

Sales & Revenue Management

  • Set revenue and profitability targets for the region in line with company goals.
  • Guide Sales Managers and Executives in preparing and executing their sales plans effectively.
  • Approve quotations and finalize contracts with customers, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Customer Engagement & Order Servicing

  • Stay closely connected with customers to ensure seamless order servicing.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or contingencies proactively.
  • Monitor all order servicing activities and liaise with Operations Planning to ensure timely execution.

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional team across sales, business development, and client servicing functions.
  • Oversee onboarding of personnel in line with company processes.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews, provide timely feedback, and support employee development.
  • Carry out performance assessment and report outcomes to the Head Office.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Management or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role.
  • Exposure to managing Sales, Operations, and Business Development in a B2B / manufacturing / services environment preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
