Job Title: General Manager Projects

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of multiple, complex projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Supervise and co-ordinate all fit out project management for the Bank and its subsidiaries/SLA entities with the approved budget/time frame/quality in line with BNPP requirement and local situations.
- Review of Layouts, BOQ’s, selection of materials, etc .
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet project objectives.
- Team Management:
- Assisting project management consultants in kicking off work at site, attending site meetings and giving decision’s/direction whenever required.
- Ensure that project teams have the tools, skills, and resources they need to succeed.
- Supervise and motivate the team, including contractual staff and consultants, PM agencies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Track and report on project financials and resources (e.g., human resources, technology, materials).
- Facilitating in verification certification and processing of bills and payments.
- Assisting in capitalization details to be sent to finance.
- To support facilities or get directly involved in carrying out any major modifications, renovations and refurbishments of existing facilities of the Bank and its
subsidiaries/SLA entities.
- Helping HOD in preparation of project costs, preparation of budgets.
- Ensure cost optimization and financial transparency on all projects.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Periodically monitoring works at site, quality control, safety and security at site.
- Resolve issues quickly, minimizing impact to project timelines and quality.
- Monitor the project risks and issues, reporting regularly to senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Assisting procurement team in selection of all required project consultants, contractors and agencies required to project.
- Coordination with internal and external stake holders including the Steering / Operating Committee .
- Resolution of conflicts at job sites.
- Implementation of AFMG procedures regarding RE projects, co-ordination with procurement team in related to RE projects.
- Ensure timely reporting of project performance to executive leadership.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance guidelines.
- Implement and maintain project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Project Handover:
- Oversee project completion, ensuring that all objectives are met.
- Responsible timely delivery of the projects.
- Coordinate move and occupation of the fitted out space.
- Arranging for integrated testing of equipment’s prior to handover.
- Participation in site handover, and completions of snag works
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper documentation of project results and closeout processes.
- Leveraging Digital Platform
- Encourage the use of collaboration platforms and business software tools like MS Office, Power BI, AI, BIM 360, Asana, Salesforce, etc .
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil / Architecture / Mechanical, Electrical. Exposure to large interior project management with direct responsibilities of deliveries. Construction Management, or a
related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 20+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team of project managers.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial management and budgetary skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Project Delivery Timeliness:
- KPI: Percentage of projects delivered on or ahead of schedule.
- Target: 95% of projects completed within the defined timeline.
- Budget Adherence:
- KPI: Percentage of projects delivered within the approved budget.
- Target: 90% of projects completed within or below budget.
- Project Quality:
- KPI: Percentage of projects meeting quality standards without major revisions.
- Target: 98% of projects delivered without major post-delivery changes.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction:
- KPI: Stakeholder satisfaction score (via surveys or feedback forms).
- Target: Achieve a stakeholder satisfaction rate of 85% or higher.
- Risk Mitigation:
- KPI: Percentage of identified risks mitigated before impacting the project.
- Target: 90% of risks successfully mitigated.
- Team Performance & Engagement:
- KPI: Employee engagement score for project teams.
- Target: Achieve an engagement score of 80% or higher, with low turnover among project managers and team members.
