About the Role

Quality Engineer

This role involves hands-on inspection, process monitoring, documentation, and coordination with production teams to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct

  in-process, in-coming, and final inspections

  of components and finished products.
• Verify

  raw material quality

  and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Record and maintain

  inspection data, reports, and quality documentation

  .
• Identify and report

  non-conformances

  , and support corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Assist in

  root cause analysis

  for quality issues and process deviations.
• Support

  internal audits

  , customer audits, and third-party inspections.
• Work closely with

  production, design, and procurement

  teams to improve quality consistency.
• Participate in

  continuous improvement activities

  within the manufacturing unit.

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma

  or

  B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering

  (mandatory).
• Additional training or certification in

  QA/QC, NDT, or ISO systems

  is an added advantage.

Experience

• 1 to 2 years

  of experience in

  Quality Assurance / Quality Control

  in a

  manufacturing setup

  (preferably metal products, appliances, or engineering components).
• Freshers with strong mechanical fundamentals and willingness to learn may also apply.

Technical & Software Skills

• Familiarity with

  quality inspection tools

  : Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Surface Plate, etc.
• Ability to

  read and interpret engineering drawings

  and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of

  welding and fabrication processes

  preferred.
• Working knowledge of

  ISO / BIS / standard inspection procedures

  .
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

  for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with

  ERP systems or production management software

  is desirable.
