About the Role

Quality Assurance Tester

You will be responsible for end-to-end testing across multiple platforms and devices, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify issues early, uphold high quality standards, and support the successful release of all products and learning content.

Please note: This position is open exclusively to candidates based in Mumbai, India. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applications from outside Mumbai at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out hands-on testing of an EHS SaaS platform, covering modules such as Risk Assessments, Incident Reporting, CAPA, Contractor Management, Audits, and Asset Management.
• Develop and execute practical test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements, user workflows, and real-world EHS use cases.
• Perform multi-platform and multi-device testing across operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices (iOS and Android) to ensure consistent functionality and user experience.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues, working closely with developers to support timely resolution.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, to ensure software meets specified requirements.
• Validate user journeys for non-technical users, ensuring the platform is intuitive and usable for safety managers and frontline users.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of e-learning courses, including content accuracy, functionality, navigation, assessments, scoring logic, certificates, and learner experience across devices and browsers.
• Support regression testing during frequent releases and module updates.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, and recommendations to continuously improve product quality.
• Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand software functionality and customer requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and assist in release sign-off for software and course deployments.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and quality standards for both software and learning content.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing or QA, ideally within a SaaS or web-based application environment.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques, test design, and defect lifecycle management.
• Extensive experience testing web applications, including mobile and responsive testing.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to think from a real user perspective, not just technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe issues to developers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of testing activities, and manage priorities under guidance from the Project Manager.
• Familiarity with LMS or e-learning platforms (e.g. Moodle or similar) is desirable.

Desirable

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Exposure to compliance or regulated environments.
• Awareness of accessibility or usability best practices.
• Experience with test management, bug tracking tools e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps and automated testing.

Remote Work Setup & Equipment Requirements:

• Your primary place of work shall be your own office workstation based in Mumbai, India.
• Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the necessary infrastructure to work remotely, including but not limited to a suitable laptop or desktop computer, with reliable and secure internet connection, appropriate data protection measures and secure file storage.
• The minimum specification for a suitable computer is a 4.6 GHz processor (e.g. Intel i5) with 16 GB RAM coupled with a minimum data connection of 50 – 100 Mbps download and 10 – 20 upload internet connection speed.
• Access to Apple and Android devices namely desktop or laptop, tablet and phone with the current operating systems.
