Job Summary:

QA Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design:

• Collaborate with

  business analysts, data engineers, and developers

  to understand functional requirements and create

  detailed test plans and test cases

  .
• Design and develop

  test scripts for functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

  for dashboards and data workflows.

Test Execution:

• Execute test cases and document results for

  dashboards or data validation

  .
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and work with teams to ensure resolution.
• Perform

  regression testing

  to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.

Dashboard & Data Validation:

• Validate

  data transformations, aggregations, and calculations

  in dashboards.
• Ensure the accuracy of

  filters, drilldowns, visualizations, and role-based access controls

  .
• Test the performance, usability, and consistency of dashboards across different devices.
• Verify data consistency between

  source systems, staging environments, and reports

  .

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with

  cross-functional teams

  to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide regular

  status updates and test results

  to stakeholders.
• Participate in

  daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies

  .

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest

  BI tools, data testing best practices, and automation frameworks

  .
• Recommend and implement

  improvements to the testing process and tools

  .

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science

  , Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field

  .

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in QA testing for dashboards, data, and business intelligence applications

  .
• Proven experience in

  testing mobile applications (both iOS and Android)

  is a plus.
• Strong understanding of

  ETL pipelines, data transformations, and database testing

  .

Skills:

• Strong SQL skills

  for querying and validating data.
• Experience with

  BI tools

  (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, etc.).
• Understanding of

  data warehouses and big data environments

  .
• Excellent

  analytical and problem-solving skills

  .
• Strong

  attention to detail

  and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work

  independently and collaboratively

  in a team.
• Effective

  communication skills, both written and verbal
