Quality Assurance Officer

Job Purpose:

BBETTER Monksays Superfoods is dedicated to producing high-quality nutritional and wellness natural products. As we launch our new manufacturing factory, we are looking for a committed Quality Assurance Officer to ensure smooth production operations and uphold our quality standards. To ensure implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) across Production, Engineering, Quality Control, Microbiology, and Utilities, ensuring compliance with GMP, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards, and to ensure product quality, compliance, and release.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure GMP compliance and perform shop floor QA activities across all departments.
• Review production records, monitor in-process controls, and investigate deviations.
• Review batch documentation, support product release, and manage rejected or recalled products.
• Manage and control SOPs, logbooks, and training records.
• Oversee Engineering & Utilities QA, including equipment qualification and maintenance approvals.
• Review and approve qualification and validation activities for equipment, utilities, and processes.
• Ensure QC and Microbiology labs comply with GMP/GLP; review lab data and investigations.
• Manage deviations, CAPA, and change controls for processes, equipment, and documentation.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, and maintain audit readiness across all departments.
• Conduct GMP training, promote quality culture, and drive continuous improvement.

Handling of Market Complaints:

• Receive & Log: Promptly acknowledge complaints and document all relevant details.
• Investigate: Analyze complaint and retention samples, review batch records, determine root cause, and classify severity.
• Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA): If substantiated, implement corrective measures and address the root cause to prevent recurrence.
• Communicate & Close: Provide feedback to customers, document all actions, and report serious issues to authorities if necessary.
• Analyse & Improve: Regularly review complaint trends to identify and resolve systemic issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc.
• 2–10 years’ experience in the QA function in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in GMP documentation, qualification/validation, audits, and batch release.
• Exposure to regulated markets preferred.

Pay: ₹299,000.00 - ₹635,000.00 per year
