Quality Assurance Officer

Job Summary

AV Global is seeking highly experienced Quality Assurance (QA) professionals with strong expertise in the apparel manufacturing industry. The role focuses on ensuring end-to-end quality assurance across all production stages, maintaining buyer standards, reducing defects, and driving continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance systems across cutting, stitching, washing, finishing, and packing processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to buyer specifications, quality standards, and AQL requirements.
• Conduct inline, end-line, and final audits to ensure defect-free production.
• Analyze quality performance, defect trends, and root causes to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with production and merchandising teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and audit documentation.
• Handle buyer visits, third-party inspections, and compliance-related quality audits.
• Train and guide quality inspectors and line supervisors on quality standards and best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 - 15 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance within the apparel manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, measurements, and finishing standards.
• In-depth understanding of AQL systems, buyer quality manuals, and export quality norms.
• Proven experience in handling buyer inspections and third-party audits.
• Ability to identify quality risks early and drive preventive quality measures.
• Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience in managing and mentoring QA and QC teams on the shop floor.
• Immediate availability and willingness to work in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in export-oriented garment manufacturing units
• Knowledge of ISO, SEDEX, or other compliance-related quality standards
• Strong analytical and documentation skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
