Job Description

Role Overview

QA Manager

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA processes for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Drive adoption of automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure product quality and release readiness.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual & automation).
Drive skill development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the QA team.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence in testing.

Collaboration & Delivery Excellence

Work with Product Managers and Engineering Leaders to define acceptance criteria and release quality gates.
Ensure seamless integration of QA practices in Agile/Scrum processes (sprint planning, code reviews, regression testing).
Partner with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and optimize test automation in deployments.

Requirements

8–12 years
of experience in QA/Software Testing with
3+ years in a leadership role
.
Strong expertise in
test automation tools
(Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
Proven track record of leading QA teams in an
Agile/Scrum environment
.
Solid knowledge of
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and
cloud platforms
(AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong understanding of
performance testing, security testing, and API testing
.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
