Job Opportunity: QA Manager – Sameerwadi Location Godavari Biorefineries Ltd. (GBL) 📍 Location: Sameerwadi, Karnataka 🕒 Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in Quality function (with at least 5 years as Head of Quality) About Us Godavari Biorefineries Ltd. Position: QA Manager We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead the Quality function at our Sameerwadi location . The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep expertise in food safety, and a proven track record in managing quality systems in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) . Ensure quality inspection plans for incoming raw materials, packing materials, intermediate, and final products. Conduct verification and validation of process flows in line with FSMS. Drive implementation of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices) . Oversee Food Safety and Customer Audits , ensuring compliance and readiness. Handle and minimize customer complaints through corrective and preventive actions. Ensure adherence to corporate customer requirements . Conduct sustainability audits for accreditations such as Bonsucro, SGP, Sedex, ISCC, etc. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements . Conduct verification & validation of CCP/OPRP before each production season. Maintain and update HACCP system based on hazard analysis and food safety concerns. Qualifications & Experience Educational Background: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Science or Chemistry . Food Safety Certification courses (HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, etc.) will be an added advantage. Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the Quality function. At least 5 years in a leadership role heading Quality/QA function. Skills & Attributes Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, GHP, HACCP, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to handle audits and customer interactions with confidence. Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving approach. Why Join Us?
