Job Description

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at NovoStack

Experience: 3–4 years

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh

Role Type: Full-time

About the Role:

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, takes ownership of quality across the development lifecycle, and loves collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers to ship world-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Perform manual testing for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Create and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / similar tools).
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Identify, log, and track bugs; verify fixes and regression test accordingly.
Ensure QA processes are followed across the SDLC.
Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating automation tests.
Provide regular QA reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–4 years of professional experience in Software QA (manual + automation).
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Postman (for API testing).
Experience with SQL for database validation and queries.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with task tracking/project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
