Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer for wire harness products, your role is crucial in ensuring that all products meet customer, regulatory, and IATF 16949 requirements. Your responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams - Supporting APQP and PPAP submissions for new and modified parts - Assisting in customer-specific requirements and quality documentation You will also be responsible for: - Conducting layered process audits, internal audits, and dock audits - Implementing statistical process control and taking corrective actions when control limits are exceeded - Reviewing first article inspection and in-process inspection records In addition, you will lead root cause analysis, coordinate corrective & preventive actions, and drive zero-defect culture implementations. You will also monitor incoming quality inspection, qualify and audit suppliers, and ensure compliance with quality standards. To excel in this role, you should have: - Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial) - 3-5 years experience in QA in wire harness / automotive parts manufacturing - Strong knowledge of quality standards like IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, and FMEA - Experience in using measurement instruments such as Vernier, Multimeter, Crimp Pull Tester, etc. Your success will be measured by key performance indicators such as Customer PPM, Internal rejection rate, Audit NC closures on time, PPAP & APQP deliverables on-time, and Supplier quality improvement metrics. Additionally, you should possess problem-solving & analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, Minitab, or other quality tools, excellent documentation & communication skills, and experience in customer handling. Preferred certifications include IATF 16949 Internal Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt (optional). This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person.,
