Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your role will involve creating and implementing strategies for quality coordination, testing, and providing solutions to identified quality problems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, offering timely feedback - Develop detailed test plans and test cases - Design, develop, and execute automated tests - Identify deficiencies in current products - Report identified issues and ensure their resolution - Suggest solutions for product problems - Investigate product quality to enhance customer satisfaction - Collaborate with the Product Development team for consistent project execution - Define key KPIs for product quality - Identify bottlenecks in the quality assurance process and propose improvement actions - Create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy - Collect quality data and perform regression testing - Oversee continuous improvement projects - Investigate non-conforming software causes and train users on implementing solutions - Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts - Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies - Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer - Experience with various testing techniques including UI Testing, Automated Testing, and Test Driven Development Strategies - Proficiency in coding using Java Script, HTML5, SQL, and JSON - Familiarity with web security technology, software QA tools, and processes - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong time-management abilities - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Hands-on experience with white box and black box testing - Proficient in automated testing tools - Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes - Experience with performance and/or security testing is a bonus In addition to the above, the position requires a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.,
