Purpose Of The Position
The purpose of this function is to ensure that all incoming materials and supplier-provided components meet Endress+Hauser’s technical, quality, and certification requirements. The role strengthens product and process reliability by executing structured incoming inspections, supporting supplier development activities, and driving corrective and preventive actions.The function is also responsible for maintaining compliance with the integrated Quality Management System through documentation, audit support, and continuous improvement initiatives. By leading QC activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting new product and process qualifications, this role contributes directly to stable operations, supplier performance improvement, and overall quality excellence within the organization.

Requirements and Activities
Requirements – Knowledge
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, sheet metal, molding, casting (Plastic injection molding, High pressure die casting, Investment casting, Surface treatment processes - preferred)
- Sound knowledge of Geometrical dimensioning (ISO GPS), GD NT & tolerances (Personally involved in new product development of mechanical parts)
- Support quality improvement initiatives with suppliers to meet quality performance targets
- Knowledge of supplier Evaluation/Development/Audits (Certification?)/ Upgradation is a must.
- Knowledge of applicable product certification compliance requirements
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the requirements of the integrated Quality management system.
- Inspecting and testing materials, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Experience in using the standard measuring instruments like Vernier calliper, height gauge, micrometre, surface tester, CMM etc.
- Knowledge of ASME, ISO, ANSI, AISI, DIN & JIS standards.
- Calibration management of gauges and tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP QM module.
- Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities – Activities
- Local technical clarifications with suppliers, SCM (Supply Chain Management)
- Local contact for operations and supplier for technical support.
- Responsible for Quality inspection lab
- Responsible for incoming quality inspection
- Local process review (technology audit) at the suppliers.
- On-site first sample qualification.
- On-site support of the Global Production Support for serialised parts and Product
Review & manage incoming inspection activities.
- Approve the zero/Pilot series of products.
- Preparation and updating of quality documents
- Identification and reporting of new needs for instrumentation and control methods
- Participation in the PDCA
- Identification of training needs and conduct online training on quality issues (Internal and suppliers)
- Monitoring compliance with applicable product certification compliance requirements
- Reporting and appropriate address of NCs from external suppliers
- Keep records and statistics up to date
- Updating and analysis of department KPIs (ppm, NC no., complaint no.,...)
- Support in the process of introducing new products / new processes (Internal and suppliers)
- Support the Customer Final acceptance tests (FAT’s)
- Analyze and execute the corrective & preventive actions for the complaints with 8D methodology.
- Support and stimulate Kaizen activities within the function and the organization.
