About the Role

Qlik Sense Data Analyst and Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Qlik Sense developers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Commercial, Market Access, Medical, Clinical, and HEOR teams) to gather requirements and translate them into Qlik Sense and Excel-based reporting solutions.
• Oversee Qlik Cloud version management, application lifecycle (Dev → Test → Prod), and ensure robust governance practices for app publishing and data security.
• Implement best practices in cloud-based deployment, tenant management, access control, and app monitoring.
• Implement best practices in

  Qlik data modeling

  , scripting, and visualization tailored to life sciences KPIs (Commercial Analytics, sales performance, patient journey, specialty distribution, prescriber insights, etc.).
• Design, develop, and optimize Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and

  Qlik Excel Add-In (XL3 Add-in)

  reports.
• Leverage XL3 tags to enable automated Excel reports with dynamic sections, formulas, pivot tables, and formatting driven by Qlik data.
• Ensure scalable and secure data modeling practices in Qlik, with proper governance and reusability.
• Work closely with Data Engineering teams to integrate data from multiple sources (CRM, MDM, Specialty Pharmacy, Claims, Calls, etc.).
• Implement best practices in

  Qlik data modeling

  , scripting, and visualization tailored to life sciences KPIs (sales performance, patient journey, specialty distribution, prescriber insights, etc.).
• Conduct user training and adoption workshops to drive self-service analytics culture.
• Manage workload distribution, project timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy (HIPAA, GDPR) and pharma regulations while designing reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience

  in Qlik Sense development and data visualization.
• Proven experience working in

  Life Sciences / Healthcare domain

  with strong understanding of industry data (HCP/HCO data, claims, EHR, specialty pharmacy, clinical trials).
• Strong expertise in

  Qlik scripting, data modeling, Set Analysis, Alternate States, Section Access

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Qlik Excel Add-In (XL3 Add-in)

  for Excel-based reporting and automation.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend, Matillion).
• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and optimize Qlik applications for performance.
• Familiarity with CRM/MDM tools (Veeva, Salesforce) and healthcare data providers (IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo Health, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience leading small teams (3–8 members) is a must.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field.
