Position Summary

We are looking for a QA Tester with a strong foundation in manual testing and exposure to test automation. The candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and contributing to the automation framework to support continuous delivery. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, thinks from a user’s perspective, and wants to grow into a full-stack QA professional in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.

·      Perform manual testing including functional, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and integration testing.

·      Develop and maintain basic automation test scripts for web and API testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Postman).

·      Conduct API validation using Postman or similar tools and verify backend data through SQL queries.

·      Identify, log, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA and ensure timely resolution.

·      Perform smoke and sanity testing for builds before release.

·      Participate in UAT and release validation activities.

·      Work closely with developers and product teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.

·      Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

·      1–3 years of experience in QA/testing for web and mobile applications.

·      Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.

·      Hands-on experience in manual testing across functional, regression, and UI flows.

·      Experience with JIRA, Postman, and basic SQL queries.

·      Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

·      Basic knowledge of API automation and test data management.

·      Good understanding of Git version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (nice to have).

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

·      Excellent communication and documentation skills.
