Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to architect, build, and scale the robust backend infrastructure that powers RuDo's wealth management platform. This role requires someone who can design secure, high-performance systems capable of handling financial data, real-time portfolio updates, and seamless integrations while ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance in the fintech space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and mobile-optimized RESTful APIs
• Build robust server-side architecture supporting real-time portfolio updates, automated investing, and AI-driven recommendations
• Design microservices architecture that supports rapid feature deployment and app scalability
• Implement secure integrations with financial data providers, trading platforms, and banking systems
• Develop automated investment execution systems, portfolio calculation engines, and transaction processing
• Ensure enterprise-grade security, data encryption, authentication, and compliance with financial regulations
• Optimize database performance, implement caching strategies, and design fault-tolerant systems for high availability
• Collaborate with mobile app developers, product teams, and DevOps for seamless integration and deployment
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and participate in technical architecture decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years in backend development for fintech or complex transactional platforms
• Expertise in backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java), database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), DevOps (Docker, AWS EC2, Nginx, Linux), and REST APIs
• Track record of building secure, scalable, and resilient backend systems
• Advanced understanding of backend architecture, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration skills
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced startup environments
• Understanding of financial regulations, investment products, and real-time trading systems
