Job Description

QA Tester job description

Position: - QA Tester

Experience: 6 Months to 1 years

Location: Ahmedabad

Joining: Immediate to 10 Days

Salary: Best in the Market (Depends on Years of Experience and interview.)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Perform functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and resolve issues
Validate bug fixes and conduct post-release testing
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies
Maintain testing documentation and prepare test reports

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

· Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role

· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

· Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JUnit)

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes

· Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner)

· Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

· ISTQB or other relevant certification is a plus

· Experience testing mobile applications or APIs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,454.56 - ₹15,590.68 per month
